Maximizing the opportunity of large-scale food chain supply

Useri is reinventing the way to maximize agricultural processes by focusing on the large-scale supply chain of agricultural produce. From simple buying and selling in small or large quantities to the issues farmers face in the transportation of these products. Useri is trying to make these processes simple while increasing profit maximization.

The Issue

Over time the Agro section in Nigerian has dilapidated greatly from unpredictable season changes, to unsteady economic infrastructure the list goes on. This led to the us to the question. How can we mitigate these issues to help agricultural stakeholders that is Farmers & Sellers maximize their profit whilst they focus on providing quality and healthy produce.

Issues with food access & waste.
Food chain supply on a large scale
Maximum client relationship among users

The Goal

Accessibilty: Create the opportunity for buyers to access enough farm produce to buy in large quantity and at the right time, also giving farmers the opportunity to sell to a large market.

Seamless user experience: In order to create an intuitive product we had to figure out a way to make each user journey or flow on the application as simple and easy as possible.

Solution

My design proccess

With the high expection and demand from the product owner I couldn't carry much indepth research as this was just the MVP, but I still came up with a proccess that guided my design thinking.

The importance of User flow in this project

A key component in my design proccess was coming up with a user flow that was inline with the goal of the product and how this could help the user achieve their goal faster. At this particular stage I worked closely with other team members to iterated alot to know what best way a user can meet their goals. This user flow gave me a clearer view on how my design should be carried out, what steps would ehance users experience.

With an agreed user flow, creating a wireframe became much easier and faster.

My designs where crafted specifcally to make the product an easy to use application, putting into high consideration the user.

Designed my very-own design components to make deisgning faster and creating uniformity across all screens

Accessibility all in one place

Focusing on accessiblity, I made sure to capture the most important and crucial informations on the home screen this was to give the users (the farmer or the buy easy access without having to figure out so much on their own)

A well detailed system to capture all neccessary information about a farm produce.

This in the long run will help the buyer make faster decisions that would reduce screen time and drop-offs

Making payments user-friendly and secure

Looking at who the potential user is, using the regular payment method may not be the best option, so in other to make the product safer, I introduce an external-third party payment option alongside the regular payment option with debit cards.

An eco-friendly market place

I designed a market place that was easy to understand, that also had informations that could guide the buyer decision to make the best choice possible. This would save lots of time going through a large multitude of options.

Learning

Identifying the best possible way to come up with ideas that helped a user complete his/her tasks in the shortest possible time.
